Prayer Requests
The Los Gatos Center joins the Self-Realization Fellowship Worldwide Prayer Circle in praying for others’ physical, mental and spiritual healing and in praying for world peace. A short healing service is included at the end of our Reading Services on Sunday and at the end of most weekly Meditation Services. As part of these short healing services, participants will pray as a group for the healing of others who have requested healing prayers and for world peace, using a special healing technique taught by Paramahansa Yogananda. The healing service is open to all and takes only a few minutes at the end of our regularly scheduled Reading and Meditation services. Additionally, Monks and Nuns of the SRF Prayer Council pray daily for the physical, mental, and spiritual healing of those named in the prayer requests.Prayer requests may be submitted with the names of those in need of healing prayers. These requests may be submitted online or written on a slip of paper and deposited in a box labeled “Prayer Requests” in the foyer. Prayer request slips are collected by our Ushers after each service and mailed to the SRF Prayer Council. Prayer requests submitted online (below) can be directed to either the SRF Prayer Council or the Los Gatos Center Prayer Committee.
For more information about the Worldwide Prayer Circle, click here to read a digital version of the SRF booklet entitled “Worldwide Prayer Circle”; a physical copy of this booklet can be found on the free literature rack in our foyer. Information about our prayer services and healing technique may be found on the Self-Realization Fellowship Prayer Service webpage.
